With this kit, you can crochet 12 placemats or 30 dollies in the specified sizes. The kit comes with Organic Cotton in coloe no. 04 Yellow. If you prefer a different color, please specify it in the comments section at checkout, and we will pack that color for you instead.

The classic twelve-pointed stars have been used in many crochet variations. In this pattern, we have used the classic version in double crochet, which is suitable for our Organic Cotton. The classic shape can stand alone as shown here, as when crocheted tightly with double crochet stitches, it is particularly suitable for placemats and doilies.
The pattern provides tips and guidance on how to adjust the size so you can make it to the exact measurements you need. Additionally, there is good guidance on how to achieve perfectly flat stars and how to block them to sharpen the points.

MEASUREMENTS
Placemat:
37 cm in diameter from point to point and 31 cm in diameter at the narrowest point. Each placemat requires 75 g of yarn.
Doily:
24 cm in diameter from point to point and 19.5 cm in diameter at the narrowest point. Each doily requires 30 g of yarn.
You can easily adjust the sizes of the placemats and doilies to fit your needs by adding or omitting rounds.
