The Mayor's Tie was crocheted for Ole Vive, the Mayor of Faxe Municipality, for his participation in the Haslev Yarn Festival in 2019. He was presented with the finsihed tie, which was well-recieved and frequently worn.
The tie in the picture is crocheted with color no. 27 as the base color, no. 21 for stripe 1, and no. 20 for stripe 2. If you prefer different colors that the available options, please note this in the comment section at checkout.
The Mayor's Tie is made from Organic Cotton from Krea Deluxe. It is crocheted using tapestry crochet, which makes the finished piece densely crocheted. It also drapes partiuclarly well and maintains its shape when worn.
