The options for variations are nearly endless. Cardigan No. 1 can be knitted with either wide or narrow stripes, or in a solid color.
Using two strands of Deluxe Silk Mohair achieves the pattern's gauge, resulting in a beautiful and soft finish. The yarn included is an alternative to the yarn used by the designer for the cardigan in the photos and the pattern. Therefore, be extra mindful of following the gauge in the pattern to ensure the measurements and yarn will work correctly.
